Toke USA was born when Miami couple Sal and Jennifer Hazday began bringing the Brazilian brand Toke (pronounced Toe-Kay) to South Florida boutiques about 20 years ago. Sal was traveling quite a bit on business to Brazil and, at the time, their two daughters Alex & Nati were the perfect age to wear the most adorable shoes he bought for them on his travels. It did not take long for all of their friends to want these beautiful shoes too!

Inspiration struck and the Hazdays decided to begin importing the Toke Brazilian footwear to Florida. A few years later they began importing another very high-end European style moccasin from Peru under the Kone brand. Both brands have been greeted in the US with much excitement for their classic elegance and modern style.

The Hazdays are true believers in making sure their shoes are made in family owned and operated factories that treat their employees and the earth with the utmost respect. All of their Toke and Kone shoes are made of soft leather and quality linings; ensuring a fashionable and comfortable fit.

Toke and Kone shoes are found in specialty boutiques and children’s shoe stores across the country.

The Kone factory began activities in 1986, in Lima, Peru, with the mission of manufacturing the best shoes for kids. More than a challenge, it was, and remains, a COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE.

Kone is a proud, family-owned and operated small business. For more than thirty years, Kone has worked tirelessly to develop the safest and most comfortable shoes for kids.

Kone understands and accepts its responsibility to make children shoes with a focus on healthy feet. They study the anatomy of the infant’s foot and design their shoes and all components in alignment with their focus on health. All Kone shoes are developed by thinking as to the comfort and safety of the little ones. They select the highest quality leathers and other materials, and then add lots of love, effort, and professionalism to deliver the best shoes for kids.

Starting in the year 2000, Kone began manufacturing its now legendary line of boys’ leather loafers, adding an unparalleled flare for style and fashion to their portfolio. Since then, Kone has continued to learn and improve on its designs for boys’ leather loafers. They work each piece and each operation by hand, with expert and committed craftsmen that attend to every detail.
